
The SAMSHA Public Engagement Platform (PEP) is a critical resource that provides that public and the Federal Government with one-stop, quick access to mental health, substance abuse prevention, and addictions treatment information, materials, and services. This tool serves as a single interaction point that provides large-scale dissemination managing over 25M customer touch points.
The current contract manages the SAMSHA’s contact center and fulfillment/distribution center, which handles over 600K calls and maintains over 1K titles of science-based behavioral health publications, while disseminating over 13M products annually.
Originally awarded in 2012, SAMSHA has put out the re-compete solicitation twice, with three separate due dates – and has now decided to cancel so it can change the direction of the program.
The current incumbent IQ Solutions Inc. is bridged until May 31st of this year.
With no communication on when SAMSHA plans on re-standing this back up (for the fourth time) your guess is as good as ours as for the fate of this critical mHealth program.
