15 Reasons Simplified Acquisitions Should Be In Small Business Pipelines

October 17, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Simplified Acquisitions are a secret weapon for federal agencies. It allows their buyers to make purchases with a reduced administrative lead time and level of effort so they can get essential goods and services to agency customers faster than other procurement methods. The rules for this type of purchase conveys a preference for agencies to engage with small business concerns as well as a reduced level of effort for vendors when responding to these requirements.

In Fiscal Year 2017, 68 federal agencies, boards and commissions issued and administered contracts and orders valued at nearly $22B, continuing an upward trend in utilization and fiscal spending on buys made this way.

During this Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors™ Essentials session, attendees will be presented information that just might compel them to lookdeeper into these agency purchases as part of their company’s growth in government contracting. 30-year industry veteran Guy Timberlake will present the facts and share his experiences of doing business this way with civilian, defense and intelligence agencies since the Government first authorized the use of Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

15 Reasons Simplified Acquisitions Should Be In Small Business Pipelines‘ is a primer for the half-day education and training session entitled ‘Finding and Winning Simplified Acquisition Opportunities,’ also part of the Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors™ Essentials curriculum.

Following the event, participants will receive a link via email where they can download a PDF version of the slide presentation. Pre-registration is required for this event.
