ABOUT THE SUMMIT
Across the federal government, agencies are urged to take advantage of the efficiencies and effectiveness that information technology offers. The federal government expects to spend $95.7 billion on IT in the coming fiscal year. From the IT Modernization Act and Technology Modernization Fund to the President’s Management Agenda, the Trump administration and Congress expect agencies to make technology a top priority so that taxpayers will reap the benefits. From 24/7 digital engagement with citizens to automating routine processes to constant, real-time protection of sensitive information, leaders are pushing government to catch up with private industry and meet public expectations for services.
The Federal IT Acquisition Summit provides acquisition and management leaders with insights into key trends and developments in federal IT contracting. Some topics include:
